Willow keeps a wary eye on the strange creature. She nods in relief as she sees no trace of blood upon him. While the strike had been a powerful one, she had made sure to hit him with only the flat of her blade. There was a difference between sparring to keep one's self sharp and fighting to destroy an enemy. Willow intended to make sure that this battle remained firmly in the former category. Satisfied with the fox's condition, she resumes a ready stance.

The woman drops and rolls out of the way as the fox's teeth snap shut an inch away from her leather armor. She let's out a laugh as she regards him once more.

"You may not be doing much damage, but you're giving me one hell of a workout," she says, grinning as her chest heaves.

Sizing up her opponent, Willow mutters to herself, "Let's try this again..."

Pointing her sword once more and drawing on the energy simmering under the surface of the ground, vines roil up and shoot toward Craed, attempting to wrap him in their grasp.

The sprightly brunette sighed as the vines once more attempted to drag her foe toward her. Without success.

"You are a strong one," she growled, readying herself for a counterattack as her vines slipped back into the earth once more.

"Ya know," Craed said as he raised his hands and concentrated on his totem, "I've been waiting to try this one out. And I think this is a good occasion." The wind starts to whip around the clearing and the trees scream in the gale. Suddenly everything goes calm. Craed looks up at Willow's concerned face and grins. A small cyclone descends upon the unsuspecting woman.
