"Provided there is nothing left for us here," The dragonborn turns his head and eyes the group around the corpse curiously, "perhaps we should continue on our way. The air is fresher down this path and I would like to see what is making this 'growling' noise. It could be a threat." The druid peers back down the path and waits for his companions to join him before continuing.

Rosalyn listens in on everyone speaking, crossing her arms over her chest and drumming the fingers on her right hand against her left arm. She seemed a tad worried, but had no intentions on backing out just yet. She glanced to Craed as he moved to the exit, wandering towards him. "Well, we won't get any answers just standing around here. "

Sastre shook his head, an exasperated sigh escaping his lips as he walked toward Rosalyn and the exit, giving the Bearded Devil a solid kick just for good measure.

"Not so fast, cupcake," the Hunter said with a hint of malice to his voice. "Didn't you hear anything that Willow or I have said? She can hear something nasty growling down there, and I know it must be something particularly terrible to have ravaged these Devils so... No, I think it's about time that you go home and leave this to the professional..." He paused for a moment, looking around at Willow, Mizzely, and Craed. "And his associates," he added, with a wry grin.

As if we'll be able to do anything against whatever it is that's down there anyway, he thought with the barest hint of a shudder.

Willow finished her search of the bearded devil, pocketing a few coins before turning her attention to his weapon and armor. Setting the glaive out of the way, she stood and walked back toward the group.

"We should search the rest of these devils before we do anything," she suggested. "They may not have much, but you never know when you'll find something useful. His armor's useless, but the glaive only needs minor repairs and a good sharpening, if anyone wants it," she offered. "I also found some coins on him and on one of the civilians; shall we start a group purse, or is it everyone for themself?"

"I suggest we keep a group purse. It'll be easier to split up afterward and everyone can get a fair cut." Craed looked around the room. He was eager to get going but could see the logic in searching their enemies. He walked over to the nearest legion devil and searched the corpse.

Shaking his head in disgust as his companions spoke of splitting the loot, Sastre walked into the darkness of the archway, muttering something under his breath as he vanished into the shadows.

Not having a use for coin or weaponry, Mizzely followed after Sastre and her fellow druid, without saying a word to the others. Afterall, if they felt they needed the few coppers the devils seemed to carry, they were welcome to it.

Rosalyn raises a brow as Sastre wanders off, following after the group with both her swords drawn. She knew this time she had to prove herself reliable somehow and not just some tag along. I mean, gods forbid that Sastre is right about me being a kid... she thought to herself.

Sastre left the others behind in the chamber as he cautiously made his way down deeper into the spiraling tunnel. He didn't bother to see if they were following; frankly, he didn't care.

That there was something terribly powerful lurking in the darkness ahead was a given, of course, and Sastre knew that he'd have a much better chance of surviving this encounter with the help of Mizzely and her companions, but it was no great loss if they chose to remain rather than venturing on. It wouldn't be the first time that he'd had to face a stronger opponent alone, and though the cost had always been high for him in the past, the Hunter remained unafraid.
