There are corpses lying around the area, they can be searched after the encounter (Perception check will tell you how many corpses you notice). Upon Sastre's arrival and challenge, the Legion Devils immediately killed the nearest survivors, leaving no one alive...

The Devil smiled cruelly to himself as he noticed the Hunter's attention leave him for a split second. Pulling his weapon back for a strike, the evil creature is surprised to find Sastre's whip already coursing through the air toward him. The Devil died without a sound, too shocked even to cry out.

Alright.

Move Action: I move 6 squares, being careful to move AROUND the splashed sewage square, and ending my movement on K9.

I still have my sunrod out in my off hand too, so there are 20 squares of bright light surrounding me.

After making his kill, Sastre moved fearlessly and purposefully toward the Bearded Devil, who simply smiled in anticipation of the battle to come...

Craed bounded forward with Mizzely and Sastre and watched as they took out they're respective enemies. As Sastre's sunrod illuminated the area a bit more he saw a few of the devils standing on separate walkways and an idea sprang to mind. He quickly stopped his advance next to the fresh corpse of Sastre's enemy and shifted into his Dragonborn form. Barely a second's hesitation, dismissing the closer enemy in favor of a more direct line of sight, his arms thrust forward and thorny vines sprang out of the totem around his neck, hungrily searching for the devils flesh.

The Devil was obviously not prepared for an attack from such a distance, and his laxness proved to be his demise as the savage whip of thorns tore his body to shreds.

The vines tear into the creature and the druid has to remind himself that these are beings are unnatural. The thorns tear the flesh and rip the life right out of the devil and Craed pulls them back, shifting his attention elsewhere.

Glancing to her left, where a devil leered at her from an island surrounded by sewage, Willow leered back and drew her chakram with a grin.

"Betcha you've never seen one of these before, big guy," she sneered, flicking her wrist to send the disc of tempered steel singing toward his ugly head.

Willow swore under her breath as the devil ducked quickly out of the way, then leaped after Mizzely. Her chakram ricocheted off the wall behind the laughing brute and flew back toward her waiting hand as she slid to a stop in front of the lynx. Preparing to snatch it out of the air as it approached, she readied her longsword for the next onslaught.

"Mizzely, let's stick together," she called to her furred ally. "You distract them, and when they attack, I'll strike. Work for you?"
