Alright.

Willow: You are aware that someone or something waits ahead of you.

Rosalyn: You notice the light that you saw become substantially dimmer, and you hear (barely) the sounds of other approaching from the same direction as that light.

Craed: You can see a hastily-concealed light up ahead of you, and you can just make out the form of a person crouched and ready to defend itself. It is making no outwardly threatening movements, content to stay where it is and observe whatever may be coming.

Mizzely (grrrrrr...): You know that Sastre waits ahead of you with his weapon ready, unsure of who you are and what your intentions are. You can also hear the slight growling of his stomach, for he has had nothing to eat today. You can smell his nervous sweat, and you can smell his well-oiled leather whip and armor. From the very dim light of his hidden sunrod, you can see that his features are a stony mask of concentration. You also hear another person approaching cautiously from BEYOND Sastre, and you can smell oiled steel. You know that the one approaching is female, and she stinks (jk, lol).

Mizzely giggled. The sound reverberated off of the walls.

"Sastre, thanks for clearing the guards for us, it made our entry so much easier! If you were only so good at securing your meals!"

As the now common denominator between the three others meeting, she gave a slight introduction of everyone. "Sastre, this is my friend Craed," pointing to the fox that stood next to her. "And this is his friend Willow, whom I've just had the pleasure of meeting myself. As for the other person approaching, I'm not sure who she is." She pointed to the passage-way behind the Hunter as she said this.

Rosalyn tensed up as she saw the light grow dim, wishing she hadn't put her sun rod away just yet. She gripped her swords as she heard more people heading her way. Lovely..., she thought to herself. But she couldn't turn back now. She readied her self, praying the training she had recieved the last few years would be enough. She suddenly turned the corner, pointing her short sword at the possible assailant, her long sword drawn back to strike. Upon seeing a more humanoid figure, she stopped, readying herself. "What? Is this... a human?", she asked herself in her own mind. She waited for a response, hoping it wasn't the violent kind.

Sastre turned at the sound of footsteps turning the corner.

The first thing he saw was a pair of swords coming at him...

And instinct took over.

Spinning lightly on his heels, Sastre flung his arm forward, lashing out with the twelve-foot whip.

The whip wraps itself around the newcomer's torso, and with a grunt of exertion, Sastre pulls her forward and spins her around, positioning her between himself and Craed, Willow, and Mizzely.

Rosalyn winces in pain, and then suddenly feels herself being pulled into the crowd, staggering a bit. "Oof! Hey, um, is it too late for us to be friends?" She smiled weakly, wincing again at the pain the whip caused.

Willow lunged at the newcomer, quickly lashing out to grab her arms before she recovered from the Hunter's attack.

Grabbed.

She struggles as she's grabbed. "Hey! Let go of me!"

Craed bounds forward toward the struggling pair.

"Wait! I think this may be a misunderstanding. What are you doing down here, friend?" The fox sits on his haunches and looks up curiously at the woman.

"Stop struggling and explain yourself," Willow growled in her ear, wrenching the woman's arms behind her back, "or I let them loose on you."

Mizzely tilted her head to the side to look at the girl who was being restrained, and then righted it. "You might want to explain quickly, some of my friends are not as patient as I am!" Her grin exposed her large canines.

Rosalyn was not intimidated by the other two, but upon seeing the talking fox, she immediately stopped struggling and looked to him dumb founded. She blinked a couple times in awe, unsure of what to say just yet. "Did... did that fox just talk? I mean, I live with elves and I've seen all kinds of things, but... did that fox just TALK!?"

"Yep." Sastre stood against the wall, picking at his nails with the edges of his now-drawn cross-boomerang.

"My apologies! I should have realized this would startle you." Craed changed into his dragonborn form. Nearly seven feet of black and silver scales now towered over the human woman. "Is this better?" He grinned and his sharp teeth gleamed in the light of the sunrods.
