Hayato sighed in relief once the spiders were gone, though his hand was now throbbing in pain slightly. He glared towards the mollusk sitting on his shoulder. "This is another fine mess you've gotten us into." He then turned back to the other chests, tilting his head in thought. He decided since seven was a lucky number, he would open that one next. And he did...

Unfortunately for him, "lucky" number seven burst open as soon as the lock turned. Standing there was a full grown Bugbear, his large canines glimering as he grinned and grinded his tongue against his gums. The bugbear raised his axe to split Hayato in half.

***At this point would be where we would switch to combat mode and move in rounds as with combat in the game. But I'm not up to it right now so we'll freeform it. Feel free in this thread to handle enemies the way you would like to. Remember you don't have the viscious gloves.***

BTW did you notice your new rank?

(Rank, what rank- DAMMIT!)

Hayato looked in awe as the bugbear appeared. Then he noticed the large axe coming down, which Hayato swiftly dodged by jumping back wards. As soon as he landed, he sprung forward, flying above the beast and putting his hands together, swinging his arms down like a hammer and slamming the beast to the ground. He jumped back again in an attempt to get some space, watching his foe to see what would happen next.

The bugbear was slammed to the ground but he was not out by a long shot. It rolled to the side and staggered to his feet. With a shake of his head his senses cleared and he swung horizontally. His deadly axe slicing air as it slid towards the Monk's body.

Hayato leaned back to dodge the attack, the axe just scraping the front of his robes. He winced abit, then he jumped over the bugbear, turning around and grabbing it by the sides. He let out a slight grunt, then yelled out as he hoisted the creature up, bent backwards and slammed the creature into the ground, head first shouting "Sakasuki Style No. 23: Dragon Suplex!" Upon letting it slam into the ground, hayato let it go and stood upright, sighing abit, wincing in pain. "Mmm... been a while since I pulled off that technique. Not used to bending backwards like that."

The bugbear lay very still, bent nearly in half by the force of Hayato's...interesting move. Slowly it turned to a fine smoke and floated away leaving no trace of the former enemy. So far the monk had been quite fortunate...so far.

Hayato stood there facing where his adversary was just a second ago, panting slightly. He turned back to the remaining chests. " This is getting old pretty quickly..." He slowly made his way to the first chest and shoved the key into it. "Well, let's see what I get out of this one..."
