Double Running

I just thought that I'd tell you guys about this great thing I just learned from the player's handbook: Double Running.

Here's how it works:

1. You choose to double move on your turn, instead of a move action and a standard action.

2. You RUN on BOTH move actions. It adds +2 to each movement, even though you take a penalty to the next attack roll you make.

This is just something that can really come in handy, I think, like when trying to escape a group of demons or something...

Great DMing

Granted I don't have a lot of other experiences to work from, of course, but I still think that you're doing an awesome job. Your Epic Fails are hilarious (even when they end up screwing me over at times) and I especially like watching Hayato throw his shurikens behind him... or fall on his ass... or slip in a puddle of blood... or try to go hand to hand (at level 1) with a pissed off Ogre.
Keep it up, you make this game even more fun to play!

A Gentle Introduction to (Narrative) Role-Playing Games

RPGs in a NutshellRole-Playing Games are about acting out a story with your friends... where you make up the script as you go along! Depending on your preferences, it can be like a strategy game: carefully planning your moves and trying to become more powerful than your enemies. Or, it can be like a soap opera, with dramatic moments and a crazy cast of characters. It also has strong improv elements, like the TV show "Whose Line Is ...
