I think they picked HORRIBLE Dragon Magazine content for their first annual. They barely included any of the new class powers, feats, or paragon paths, and the only racial spread included was of the Shadar-kai! No Minotaur, no Revanent... blah. They did, at least, include the coliseum stuff, so that's cool. As far as the AV2, it just didn't have the same thrill that the first one did.
